Adult Keeper Experience

The ultimate experience for all animal lovers!

The Adult Keeper Experience offers a fantastic insight into the role of a zookeeper in our busy Zoo. We try to make your experience as unique and personal as we can by giving you the chance to spend time with your favourite animal and their keeper where possible. Your day will be filled with food preparation, grooming, animal enrichment, health checks and enclosure cleaning around our wildlife park and you may even have the chance to participate in an Animal Encounter for the public.

Choose from either:

Zookeeper - Mix up the day with a range of animal experiences which might include spending time with some exotic animals (lemurs, marmosets, meerkats and wallabies), exotic birds, birds of prey, reptiles and invertebrates.

Bird Keeper - The ultimate day out for bird lovers. Get to know the charming individual characters and stories behind how some of the exotic birds came to Tropical Wings Zoo. Assist a keeper in feeding, cleaning some of our beautiful parrots or work alongside one of the team manning (handling), weighing and even flying some of the birds of prey such as the owls, hawks or ravens.

Adult Keeper Experience cost £150 and lasts for 5 hours.

The Adult Keeper Experience is not available to book during any school holidays.
