Four to six year olds

A close encounter for the whole party in the specially themed Jungle Room with your choice of one of the following:

1. Furry friends 2. Big bugs 3. Parrots 4. Reptiles

Seven years and over

Keeper led tour into the reptile room and the birthday child meets a snake, lizard or big bug.
A close encounter for the whole party at the animals’ enclosure with your choice of one of the following:

1. Furry friends 2. Big bugs 3. Parrots 4. Reptiles including tortoise
5. Birds of prey 6. Wallabies

It’s not over yet, the birthday child then gets to take part in a show while friends watch with the audience.

PLUS all children’s birthday parties include:

• Birthday party invitations
• Free entry to the zoo for the whole day for each paying child and free adult(s)
• Children’s party box of food and soft drinks
• Certificate and present for the birthday child from Mr Macawber

Times and Shows

Please choose from one of the following start times for the show the birthday child wants to take part in:

• 11.30am-1pm Big bugs in the Discovery Kingdom
• 1pm-2.30pm Feed the wallabies in the wallaby paddock
• 1.30pm-3pm Birds of prey in the Wild Wings Display
• 3pm-4.30pm Animal antics in the Discovery Kingdom
• 3.45pm-5.15pm Big bugs and beasties in the Discovery Kingdom

Shows may vary so please ask at reception for details of our current events.

Party bags at £3.00 each and pre-ordered baguettes for the adults £3.00 each.

Terms & Conditions

• Minimum of 10 children and maximum of 20
• Free attendance of adults includes 1 adult for 10 children, 2 adults for 11 to 15 children and 3 adults for 16 to 20 children.
• The zookeeper will lead the group and attending adults are responsible for all children in the party.
• Bookings are subject to availability.
• A non-refundable £25.00 deposit must be placed to secure the booking, after which the party invitations may be collected. Full payment, final numbers and menu choices must be received seven days prior to the date of the party.
• Unfortunately, no refunds can be given for cancelled places. A £20 fee will be charged for date alterations less than 14 days before the event is due to take place. A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged if the cancellation is made less than two weeks beforehand. A fee of 100% will be charged for a cancellation made less than 48 hours before the event.
• It is the responsibility of the party organiser to declare any allergies that guests may have.
• Balloons and noisemakers cannot be brought into the zoo or café.
• No alcohol is permitted on site.
