Children’s Birthday Party Packages

The birthday group is met by a keeper at agreed start time in reception.

A keeper led tour around the Tropical House and feed the fish with food provided.

A close encounter for the whole party in the themed Jungle Room with a choice of one of the following:

1. Furry friends
2. Big bugs
3. Parrots
4. Reptiles

The birthday child can take part in a show while friends watch with the audience. Choose from one of the following time slots linked to the show the birthday child wants to take part in:

•	11.30am-1.30pm	Big Bugs	Lunch at 1pm
•	12pm-2pm	Parrot Display	Lunch at 1.30pm
•	12pm- 2pm	Greedy Goats	Lunch at 12pm
•	12.30pm-2.30pm	Feed the Wallabies	Lunch at 12.30pm
•	1pm-3pm	Wild Wings Display	Lunch at 1pm

Also included in all children’s birthday party packages:

• Birthday party invitations
• Free entry to the zoo for the whole day for each paying child and qualifying adult(s)
• Children’s party box (Includes a roll with butter and a choice of fillings from jam, triangle of soft cheese or Nutella chocolate spread), raisins, mini cheddars, fruit of the day and a homemade cup cake served with either orange or blackcurrant squash, eaten in a reserved area.
• Certificate and present for the birthday child from Mr Macawber

The childrens party box of food is eaten in a reserved area at the beginning or end of the main party, which is arranged at time of booking. Food may be eaten in the picnic areas or in the Jungle Room.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Terms & Conditions

A minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 children at the party. Free attendance of accompanying adults includes 1 adult for 10 children, 2 adults for 11 to 15 children and 3 adults for 16 to 20 children. The zookeeper will lead the group and accompanying adults are responsible for all children in the party. The zookeeper will accompany the party group for the duration of the party, which lasts 1½ hours. The party food is eaten in a reserved area under supervision of accompanying adults at the beginning or end of the party. Please allow 2 hours for the whole party package to be enjoyed and ask guests to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time of your party. The party group may spend the rest of day in the zoo if they wish.

Bookings are subject to availability. A non-refundable £25.00 deposit must be placed to secure the booking, after which the party invitations may be collected. Full payment, final numbers and menu choices must be received seven days prior to the date of the party.

Unfortunately, no refunds can be given for cancelled places. A £20 fee will be charged for date alterations less than 14 days before the event is due to take place. A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged if the cancellation is made less than two weeks beforehand. A fee of 100% will be charged for a cancellation made less than 48 hours before the event. It is the responsibility of the party organiser to declare any allergies that guests may have. Balloons and noisemakers are cannot be brought into the zoo or café. No alcohol is permitted on site.
